Bruce Springsteen & Evan James Springsteen

The Dancing in the Dark crooner got interested in music when he saw Elvis Presley on the Ed Sullivan Show and worked to buy his first guitar in his teens. He started playing with the band Rogues in local venues until his mother bought him a Fender, a milestone he sang about in his song The Wish. He went on to play with several bands from the 60s to 70s until he signed up with Columbia Records. Springsteen went on to release several albums during his career.

Fortunately, music is in the blood of his children, with his eldest following suit in terms of career. Evan James got a degree in music and is currently pursuing it as a career, too much like what his father did when he was his age. Additionally, we are seeing a bit of his father in Evan as he is also a songwriter. The creative juices are definitely running through Bruce’s eldest, that’s for sure!
