Nicolas Cage once said that he did not consider his relationship with Lisa Marie Presley a real marriage as it did not last long. Looking back at their tumultuous relationship dating back to 2000, the two had an on-and-off relationship that lasted for years. Eventually, Cage and Presley got married in 2002 at a lavish wedding in Hawaii. However, their marriage was short-lived and the Ghost Rider actor called his lawyers to have their marriage annulled after just four months.

As said earlier, they did not have a smooth-sailing relationship. They often fight about petty things, with Presley saying they were like kids in a sandbox. Although they adore each other, it seems their personalities did not match, for that they decided to end their relationship before they tore each other apart. They have since moved on to other people. Cage recently got married to Riko Shibata, while Presley was married to Michael Lockwood from 2006 to 2016.
